RED BENCH

SoHo

Most bars in New York have dim lighting.  This place has no light at all.  The only thing you can see is the soft glow of peoples faces from votive candles on the tables.  After stumbling over a few ottomans V, Bill, Andrew and I found a table against the wall.  I guess because the place is so tiny they had to put tiny tables in as well.  The place made me feel like a giant.

Once settled in I enjoyed the atmosphere.  They didn't have much of a beer selection which was a little disappointing since it was St. Patty's Day but it was okay.  The Red Bench is a good place to go if the other bars in SoHo are full but I felt a little scrunched in the place.

Bill and Andrew looking very scary.
