and I have escaped to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden on a few occasions to
get away from the city. It really is a little piece of heaven and a
great get away without having to travel to far. What really amazes
me is how the park totally transforms in only a month. The first
time we went to the Cherry Blossom festival and the blossoms were
incredible. We also wandered by the rose garden but they were
nothing but thorny bushes. A month later we went and the Cherry Blossom
trees were just trees but the rose garden was absolutely breath
taking. Unfortunately the pictures I have taken do not give the
garden justice, but hopefully you will get an idea.
